An actor known for his appearances in Golden Years, Hollyoaks and The IT Crowd will be hosting a Q&A session at the Hailsham Pavilion this week, following a screening of a new production.
Richard Cambridge, the lead actor of the film called Distant Bridges will appear at the screening on Thursday (9 September). The film is an evocative film of love, war and death in a small community in England during 1914-1918.
A number of battles scenes in the production were filmed in Hellingly with participation of many local people.
Richard started acting at school and became involved in professional work throughout his late teens, working his way up to playing the lead role in feature film Distant Bridges and shortly after ‘The Fishmongers Daughter’ which was official selection at Sundance film festival in the USA.
He has since worked as a producer, director and continued working as an actor, taking a keen interest in technology relating to acting and performing for the screen. In 2015 Richard co-founded actor’s website WeAudition which is now the leading reader-on-demand video chat service in Hollywood.
