Sophie Ellis-Bexter visits Sussex event to perform to thousands

DISCO star Sophie Ellis-Bexter visited Brighton (29 April) and performed to thousands of visitors to the Foodie Festival.

Playing hits such as ‘Murder on the Dancefloor’ and ‘Take me Home’ put on an excellent 40 minute show alongside a full days schedule of bands at the event at Preston Park.

Cooking up sone treats for guests are MasterChef 2021 champion Tom Rhodes, Brighton-based 2018 MasterChef champion, Kenny Tutt, from Pitch restaurant in Worthing, MasterChef: The Professionals champions Alex Webb and Steven Edwards, from 3AA Rosette awarded Etch, in Hove and BBC bread expert, Jack Sturgess.

Also on the menu, Great British Menu winner Michael Bremner, from Michelin Bib Gourmand awarded 64 Degrees restaurant and Hove-based Great British Bake Off favourite,Juergen Krauss.

The event is on until Monday 1st May where Martin Kent will be performing live on stage, and Scouting for Girls will pack the place on Sunday 30th. Tickets can be purchased at: https://foodiesfestival.com/
