HAILSHAM will come alive tomorrow (21st June) with a vibrant Sussex Day celebration in Vicarage Field, running from 8.30am to 1pm.
Organised by Hailsham Town Council, the event promises a fun-packed morning celebrating all things Sussex, with live music, children’s activities and a local market.
The entertainment line-up includes maypole dancing, Grovelands School choir and a live performance from folk band Ceol Na Mara. Hailsham FM will be broadcasting live, and kids can enjoy face painting with Lollipops.
Shoppers can browse a variety of unique stalls, including The Rum Infusionist, Scrumdiddlyumptious sweets, Create Records, handmade gifts, and much more. Plus, community groups like Hailsham Lions, U3A, and Hailsham Foodbank will be joining in with books, games, and crafts.
Mayor Cllr Chris Bryant said: “It’s a fantastic chance to celebrate our local pride and community spirit. There’s something for everyone – we hope to see you there!”
