The Air Ambulance attended an RTA on the A22 this afternoon.
The road has been closed between the Cophall and Eagles Roundabout following an incident this afternoon (Sunday).
Emergency Crews are currently dealing with the scene and motorists are being asked to avoid the area.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision which involved two motorcycles.
16:30: Road still closed to traffic.
22:20: Police stated “The southbound carriageway has reopened, and the northbound carriageway is expected to reopen shortly. We thank motorists for their patience while officers responded to this incident.”
