Armed Police Officers and the Police Helicopter were called to an incident on Town Farm estate, Hailsham this afternoon.
Shortly after 3pm, crews attended Bayham Road and the force helicopter hovered over the location for around 20 minutes.
There is no information as yet to the nature of the incident.
