For the third time in twelve months, armed Police have attended an incident on Bayham Road in Hailsham.
A number of armed officers were called to the Town Farm estate this evening (29 August), the nature of the incident is currently unknown.
In June this year, a man was apparently seen with a sword in the area but was not found. In August 2019, a 38-year-old man and a 21-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of assault after a 46-year-old man sustained head injuries after being assaulted by several other men in Bayham Road.
