EASTBOURNE Motoring Centre (EMC) has handed over a brand-new Suzuki Vitara to help save lives at Eastbourne’s Beachy Head.
The Suzuki dealership, based at Whitley Bridge, Eastbourne has donated its 5th brand new 4×4 to the Beachy Head Chaplaincy, which is a local search and rescue charity that save lives around Beachy Head.
A dedicated team are available every day of the year, patrolling the cliff tops and surrounding downland, to assist anyone in their time of need.
By providing a reliable, rugged, all-terrain new Suzuki Vitara to the Chaplaincy volunteers again this Spring, EMC is helping the team carry their equipment, reach those in need and ultimately save lives.
The Vitara models have already proved to be reliable, all-terrain vehicles with the on and off-road capabilities required to reach those at risk. The Vitaras’ latest generation full hybrid technology ensures dependable reliability, excellent fuel efficiency and low running costs.
The Chaplaincy work is funded entirely by donations from supporters and the public and has responded to over 15,000 incidents since 2004. More information about the work of the volunteers can be found here.
