Brighton Care Home celebrates Pride in their own special way

Date:

A CARE Home in East Sussex held a celebration recently for those who couldn’t get out to the full street celebrations earlier this month.

Maycroft Manor care home in Brighton held its Pre-Pride Party with the famous local Drag Queen ‘Lovina Belle’ performing for residents, families, teams and the local community.

She then performed in Preston Park the very next day which was a total contrast to the audience the day before.

The home has a very diverse mixture of people living and working there and wanted to showcase acceptance and equality in the residents’ home as a large employer in Brighton with some that may form part of the LGBTQ community.

A spokesperson from the home said: “The team, residents and guests had a blast and Lovinia Belle was simply amazing.”
