MAKE the most out of summer (we hope there will be more sunny days ahead!) with some exciting musical line-ups on Bexhill seafront.
The proceeds from the event, organised by Bexhill Heritage, will go towards the Footbridge Project.
Here is the line-up of performances, which takes place on Saturday July 6, at the Coronation Bandstand:
- 12.15pm the music starts with the Battle Ukelele Band
- 2pm continuing with the Bodiam Concert Band,
- 4.30pm the Kukes, and
- 5.45pm The Other Band
There is also the chance to win prizes in the fabulous tombola, get a copy of the Footbridge
spotting game and buy the latest Footbridge Gallery merchandise, including badges,
panoramic photo cards of the first Gallery.

Also on sale are cards by local artists and children’s books by local author and illustrator, Joan Thurgar.
Lee Birch, from the Footbridge Project, said: “Thank you Bexhill Heritage, the Footbridge Gallery 2.0 opened in October 2023 and is bigger and better than ever with more varied and wonderful art.
“The art on display won the attention of the public judges and the judging panel in the competition for local artists. Congratulations to those whose work is on the current footbridge gallery.
“If you have not seen it yet, you can find it on the bridge that joins Devonshire Square (by the Post Office) to Station Road, Bexhill.
“There is a ramp both ends of the footbridge making it accessible to almost everyone.”
