A 13-year-old cyclist was taken to hospital after a collision in Bexhill.
Emergency services responded to the crash in Magdalen Road shortly before 4pm on Tuesday, August 21.
It involved a silver Mercedes and a cyclist. The driver of the Mercedes, a 50-year-old local woman, was not injured.
A spokeswoman for South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb) said:” SECAmb were called at just before 4pm on Tuesday, August 20, to a RTC involving a car and cyclist in Magdalen Road, Bexhill.
“The cyclist, a teenage boy, sustained a head injury and was airlifted to Kings College Hospital in London, where he remains in a serious condition.”
Sussex Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information such as CCTV or dashcam footage is asked to report it to Sussex Police online, quoting Operation Studland.
