Driver rescued from rolled Cement HGV in Sussex

RESCUE crews were called to an incident near Burwash today as an HGV rolled down an embankment.

It happened on the A265 when the cement lorry left the road and rolled into a nearby field.

The driver was apparently taken to hospital with minor injuries.

Crews from Burwash and Heathfield attended, along with the Technical Rescue Unit from Battle.

Road was closed for a while to allow a recovery to take place.
