Eastbourne residents gets new free community newspaper this summer

REGIONAL Media Group, the independent publishers of Hailsham and Bexhill News, is delighted to announce it will be heading to the seaside to launch its third title – Eastbourne News.

This publication will follow its already successful format in Hailsham and Bexhill and will expand its coverage into the seaside resort from 1st June.

The first edition (June 2024) will see 15,000 copies distributed in all the local major supermarkets including Tesco, Sainsbury, Morrisons and Asda. The newspapers will be free to pick up by shoppers around the first day of every month.

Group Editor, Paul Gibson said: “We’re very excited about the launch of our third hyperlocal newspaper in Eastbourne. We’re bringing back truly local journalism to the town, and the best bit is it’s free to residents to read.”

Since 2021, Regional Media Group has been publishing free local community newspapers in East Sussex and has plans for two more titles in the next twelve months in the county.

Residents can pick up a copy from the following supermarkets, with other smaller outlets soon to be announced…
