An investigation is to be carried out following a fire in a flat in Bexhill last night (Tuesday).
Emergency services were called to the property in Cranfield Road at around 21:30 when a fire in the first floor flat was discovered.
Fire engines from Bexhill, Hastings and Broad Oak were sent to the scene along with the command support unit and three officers.
Crews used two breathing apparatus and a hose reel to put out a fire in a first floor flat.
One person was given first aid treatment and SECAmb was informed.
