The Hailsham Fire appliance has attended a car fire this lunchtime on the outskirts of Hailsham.
The blaze took place around 12:15 on Ersham Road, where crews used breathing apparatus to tackle the fire.
Police closed the road to traffic which has caused some delays around the town.
We are unaware of any injuries following the fire.
The road remains closed to traffic (13:30).
