Fire crews attend Hailsham home blaze

Date:

Emergency services were called to a property in London Road this morning following reports of a fire inside the home.

Pumps from Eastbourne, Pevensey and Seaford attended the incident at 9:30 this morning (Saturday). Crews used six breathing apparatus to enter the property and got the fire under control.

London Road was closed both ways to traffic whilst the fire was dealt with.

Paramedics and ambulance crews also attended, but there has been no reports of any injuries.

Early reports suggest the blaze was concentrated to an airing cupboard within the property.
