Residents in a Hailsham cul-de-sac called for fire crews this evening (Monday) after a garage caught fire.
Appliances from Hailsham and Eastbourne arrived at Saxon Close to find a garage well-alight.
Five firefighters with breathing apparatus tackled the blaze which happened around 7pm.
Police, Ambulance and Fire Crews were also called to the scene.
There have been no reports of any injuries at this time.
A spokesperson from East Sussex Fire and Rescue said: “This evening crews from Eastbourne and Hailsham were called to attend a property fire in Hailsham which has affected a private dwelling and garage. We are working with Sussex Police to identify the cause of the fire which has now been extinguished.”
