FOUR ARRESTED FOLLOWING STONE CROSS STABBING

POLICE have made four arrests after reports of a disturbance in Stone Cross.

Officers were called to an address in Burdock Place shortly after 2pm on Tuesday, April 25.

A man aged 56 had sustained injuries consistent with a stabbing, and was taken to hospital.

His injuries are not life-threatening.

Officers made four arrests and are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident.

There will be an increased police presence in the area while police carry out enquiries. It was an isolated incident that does not pose a threat to the wider community.
