Glove up for Good, a Hailsham-based boxing gym run for local causes, has completed its attempt at breaking a Guinness World Record.
After 62 hours of hard work and dedication, the team of 12 trainers and members of the group were up against the previous record of 60 hours of the longest punch bag marathon in a team of 12. The bag must be struck no less than every two seconds.
The team celebrated completing the challenge at 2pm today (Sunday 27th June) which marked four days since they started it at the gym in George Street.
Glove Up for Good is a charity based organisation open to the community of all ages to help build confidence, fitness and it also holds regular challenges to raise money for local good causes.
Official confirmation from Guinness World Record is expected in a few weeks time.
