Hailsham Christmas Box campaign launched

Date:

The annual ‘Love in a Box’ Christmas appeal has been launched in the hope of giving homeless people a box full of joy.

The YMCA is encouraging residents to make a shoe box of small gifts which will then be donated to a young person staying in supported housing over Christmas.

They can contain items such as vouchers, make-up, jewellery, sweets, socks, gloves, DVD or anything aimed at 16-25 year-olds.

Boxes can be dropped off at 1 Market Square, Hailsham by 19th December. Contact geraldine.gurr@ymcadlg.org for more information.
