A local man has pleaded guilty to burgling a home in Hailsham.
Michael Stonestreet, 32, of Butts Field, Hailsham, was charged with the burglary of a residential property in The Holt.
Police received a report that the victim had come home from work on 26 September to find tool marks on the window and items including gold jewellery, a BB gun and cash had been stolen.
Stonestreet pleaded guilty at Brighton Magistrates Court on 14 March, and is due to appear before Lewes Crown Court on 14 April for sentencing.
