Hailsham News is delighted to launch an exciting new event for the community.
Hailsham LIVE will take place on 8th May 2020, which is the 75th Anniversary of VE Day, and will take place in the Vicarage Lane Car Park, Hailsham.
The early May bank holiday in 2020 has been moved from the Monday, to Friday 8 May to mark the 75th anniversary of VE Day.
So, to mark this special occasion, this free to attend, non-profit event will host live staged entertainment throughout the day from both professional and community performers, such as schools, choirs, bands and dance groups. They’ll also be charity stands, traders, food, kids entertainment and lots, lots more.
Various moments to mark the VE Day Celebrations will be held throughout the day involving local armed forces groups and organisations.
In the evening, the live music will continue with the UK’s Tribute to PINK, and local band RockitMen will be entertaining the crowds until 10pm.
