Fire crews from across East Sussex have been dealing with a fire which has destroyed a barn in Ringmer.
At 16.10 today (Thursday), East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service was called to the scene in Gote Lane, Ringmer. Six appliances attended from Lewes, Uckfield, Preston Circus, Newhaven, Roedean and Bexhill.
Residents nearby were warned to avoid the area and close all windows and doors.
Crews remain on he scene (6pm) and will be for a number of hours.
