Hailsham Town Council has appointed a new Deputy Youth Service Manager for the town’s Youth Service.
After a thorough recruitment process, the Council has appointed Simeon Brown, who has occupied a variety of positions in the youth services sector.
Looking forward to the challenging role and carrying over his extensive youth work experience with the aim of providing an excellent service to the young people of Hailsham, Simeon said: “I am honoured to have been selected for this position and am delighted that I have had so much support from fellow team members so early into my role.”

within youth work, I have worked with some great young people and some more challenging young ones of course, but every one of them I have had total respect for. In all my time working in the youth services sector, no two days have been the same and the reward of seeing young people develop, achieve good things and move on in life – whatever their background – is great.”
