OFFICERS on patrol followed a ‘distinctive smell’ which resulted in the arrest of three people in Hailsham recently.
Whilst on patrol on Sunday 9th March, Wealden officers noticed the smell and decided to follow their noses to the source.
They then discovered a cannabis farm at a property.
A Police spokesperson said: “We arrested three individuals at the scene, who have since been released on bail whilst investigations continue.
“As always – we are urging anyone with information to call us on 101, or make a report online.”
