THE organisers of the first Hailsham Active Run are hailing the event a success after more than five hundred runners took part.
Participants from all over the county descended on Hailsham yesterday (21 May) to complete three different routes around the town, a 1km, 3km, 5m and 10km and also included a ‘Inclusive’ race enabling the event to include any person with a disability.
The last time an event like this took place was in 1993, but now, it’s hoped the Hailsham Active Run will be an annual event due to its success.
A full report and photos will be published in Hailsham News due out on 1st June.
