POLICE are appealing for motorists who may have seen a pedestrian walking along the A259 near Bexhill last night (Saturday) to come forward.
Emergency services were called to a report of a collision between a car and a pedestrian on the A259 Barnhorn Road, Bexhill, at around 8.20pm.
The incident is understood to have taken place outside The Custom Café.
An investigation is ongoing to establish the full circumstances and no further information is available at this time.
Anyone who witnessed the incident, events leading up to it – particularly a man in his 60s walking along the road at that time – or has relevant dashcam footage is asked to contact collision.appeal@sussex.police.uk quoting Operation Alva.
