Police seize car in Bexhill following a string of offences

Date:

A driver has been summonsed to court after apparently driving without a license and insurance in Bexhill.

Rother Police spotted the Audi TT carrying out a number of overtakes on Coombe Valley Way last night (Sunday) and stopped it after recording it driving at 86mph in a 60mph zone.

After stopping the vehicle, checks showed the vehicle had no MOT, the driver had no insurance and a revoked driving licence.

A spokesperson announced on Facebook: “Needless to say, the vehicle was recovered by us, and the driver was summoned to court.”
