EMERGENCY crews have been at the scene of a serious incident most of the day on the A259.
The road was closed around 11:30am this morning (Thursday) after two cars collided on the Marsh Road at Hooe.
Five fire engines and the Technical Rescue Until were called to attend and a number of casualties had to be cut from the wreckage.
The road is still currently closed and drivers are being urged to avoid the area.
