Hailsham Parish Church is inviting residents to a special ceremony this weekend to celebrate the life of Queen Elizabeth II.

It will take place on Sunday 18 September at 3.30pm at the Parish Church, just off the High Street, and is an opportunity for thanksgiving to God for the life of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and pray for King Charles III and all the Royal family.

A spokesperson from Hailsham Parish Church said: “We are all very saddened by the recent news of the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and we would extend a warm invitation to you to attend a special service of Commemoration.”
