Sick vandals strike again at town’s sports clubs

Date:

CCTV is being examined by Police after Hailsham’s football and cricket club were vandalised overnight.

Graffiti was painted on both the Cricket Club Pavilion and on the Football Club walls, but not for the first time. We have blurred out most of the graffiti, as we don’t want to give the vandals pleasure by seeing it published.

Hailsham Cricket Club has said on social media CCTV of the four youths has been passed to Police in the hope they can be found.

It happened at 8:50pm last night (Friday).

Over the past few years, the club has fallen victim to attacks on its fences, break ins and the slashing of covers and nets.

Anyone with information are being urged to contact the Police.
