South Road Bridge to get eagerly-awaited resurface

Date:

WORKS are due to commence (11 April) to repair the road surface on the South Road Bridge in Hailsham.

The town’s very own ‘lunar experience’ will be closed overnight to all traffic and diversions will be in place.

Closures will take place between 19:00-06:00am for two nights – delays are expected to be minimal.

East Sussex Highways said: “A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible.”
