The votes have been counted and the results have been announced of the elections which took place yesterday (Thursday).
Voting took place for three wards in Hailsham which resulted in the Conservative party taking two seats and the Liberal Democrats taking the other.
The results in each ward are:

Jo Crittenden – Liberal Democrats
Hailsham North West
Kevin Lawrence – Conservative party
Hailsham South
Jenny Cook – Conservative
