FIRE crews have rescued a person from a vehicle after a collision on the A22 this morning (26 February).
The road was closed after the crash which happened just after 10:30 on the road near East Hoathly.
A spokesperson from East Sussex Fire and Rescue said: “Three fire engines from Uckfield, Crowborough and Eastbourne were in attendance. Firefighters worked with paramedics to release one casualty from one of the vehicles, the patient was then left in the care of South East Coast Ambulance Service.
“Sussex Police were also in attendance.”
