FRIENDS and colleagues of the man known locally as ‘Jack’ have been left at the scene of a crash which is now being treated as murder.
Floral tributes have been laid at Diplocks Walk on Western Road to a ‘beautiful soul’ and ‘kind and thoughtful’ man who died in the crash around 11pm on Saturday night (18 November).
One tribute said: “Thank you for being such a good person and lighting up this world”. Another signed by seven of Jack’s friends said: “It was a pleasure to call you our friend, you were so kind and thoughtful without knowing.”
Police arrested two men on suspicion of murder on Sunday evening after handing themselves in. A 32-year-old from Horam and a 26-year-old of no fixed address are currently being held in custody.
