Emergency services were called to a collision this morning (Saturday) which caused extensive damage to two vehicles.
The almost head-on smash happened in Saltmarsh Lane where the driver of a 4×4 was apparently taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Saltmarsh Lane was closed for a few hours so recovery and investigation work could be carried out of the scene.
Any witnesses are being urged to contact Sussex Police on 101.
