AFTER wrapping up a routine training session, members of Eastbourne Coastguard swapped drills for dance steps as they joined a lively community dance class on the Western Lawns.
The impromptu moment was captured on video and shared on social media, showing the team getting into the rhythm alongside locals. The session was led by an enthusiastic instructor who, according to the Coastguard, welcomed ‘anyone and everyone’ and proved to be a ‘great mentor’, even if the team joked their dancing might not have shown it!
“Life is about having fun, and it was certainly that,” they added.
The light-hearted moment was a reminder that even those tasked with serious responsibilities know how to let their hair down.
