A POORLY grey seal pup with bite wounds was rescued by RSPCA Mallydams Wood.
The seal was found alone on the beach in Essex. She was thin, dehydrated, had a bite wound on one of her back flippers and a few grazes on her face.
She arrived at Mallydams Wood yesterday afternoon (December 7) after she was transported by British Divers Marine Life Rescue.
After she was given treatment, rehydration therapy and antibiotics, she is on the mend and has brightened up a lot.
The team also appealed on Facebook for the public to suggest a name for her.
They confirmed today (December 8) to East Sussex News supporters suggested the name Orzo for the little one.
