A number of residents in Hailsham have reported low pressure or no water this morning (Monday).
The reports follow a water main burst at the junction of The Diplocks and Apex Way causing flooding in the road. Nearby homes have said on Hailsham News and Talk they have low pressure or no water at all.
Engineers from South-East Water arrived on-scene around 9am this morning.

South East Water’s Distribution Manager Andrew Davin said: “We had a leak on a four inch diameter water main in Diplocks Way, Hailsham this morning.
“The pipe has now been isolated and all customers who were without water or had low pressure should have had their supplies restored.
“We received the first call from a customer reporting no water at 5.40am and a further seven customers also reported problems.
“We have called all the customers back and confirmed they are now back on normal supply.
“Unfortunately leaks and bursts do happen on our high pressure, extensive network of underground pipes which carry 521 million litres of water everyday through 9,000 miles of mains and more than six million joints.
“We work around the clock to find and fix leaks and bursts and also have a £424 million investment programme underway.
“As part of our mains renewal schemes, we are currently replacing 630 metres of unreliable pipe in Diplocks Way, Hailsham, at a cost of £254,000, which will reduce the number of leaks and bursts in the area.
“The work started on January 29 and is due to be completed by the end of July.
