Waterweek continues through holidays with array of activities

Date:

A week of activities aimed at raising awareness of our local streams continues this weekend.

The events are focussed on the ancient but neglected Diplocks stream in Hailsham and have been organised by a team of local people, artists and entertainers.

It was launched yesterday (Saturday) and hosted educational activities at the Hailsham Farmers Market and then continued at the Diplocks Steam located behind Chandlers BMW.

There was also poetry readings, a stream clean up, live music and a willow weaving workshop.

Events continue today, and into next week, with sculpture workshops, pottery and a puppet show (4pm Sunday).

See below for a full schedule.
