POLICE have arrested a man after he fled from a vehicle which failed to stop for officers in Hailsham.
The pursuit happened on Friday 6th September when the male driver decamped the vehicle at a roundabout along the Hailsham bypass and hid in the woodland nearby.
Officers found one male who is in custody for driving whilst disqualified, driving with no insurance, failure to stop and also for failing a roadside drug wipe.
