Charities and non-profit groups invited to Hailsham Jubilee event

Date:

Plans to mark the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee in Hailsham are in progress ahead of the extended bank holiday in June.

Hailsham News, in conjunction with Hailsham Town Council, is planning a series of events between 2-5th June, with the aim of bringing together the community for this special occasion.

As part of the weekend, residents will be invited to a family street party style event on Sunday 5th June at the Recreation Ground in Western Road. There’ll be live staged music and entertainment along with traditional games, competitions, sports, displays and tribute acts to celebrate the Jubilee.

The free event will be full of surprises and fun for all the family.

The organisers are inviting local charities and non profit groups to have a free stand to raise awareness of their cause and raise vital funds through games and competitions. If your charity or group would like to apply for a space, please click here.
