EMERGENCY services were called to reports of a car fire on a busy road.
East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service attended the incident on the A259 in Guldeford Lane, Rye, at about 9pm last night (April 30).
Crews from both Rye and Romney, Kent, were at the scene.
There are no reports of injuries.
