FIRE Crews from all across East Sussex rushed to Hailsham today (Thursday) following reports of a fire house.
Pumps from Eastbourne, Pevensey, Seaford and Battle were sent to the property in The Acorns, off Mill Road, where the loft of the house was on fire.
It happened around 15:40.
The road was closed whilst officers dealt with the scene.
The aerial ladder from Eastbourne also attended, but thankfully no persons were reported trapped in the building.
