New figures show soaring COVID cases in Hailsham

COVID-19 rates are souring in Hailsham according to new figures.

There are 50 new cases reported in Hailsham East, giving a rate of 813.0 cases per 100,000 people. 24th highest rate in Sussex.

There are 27 areas of Sussex with a weekly Covid-19 rate of more than 800 new cases per 100,000 population.

The data shown relates to the seven-day period leading up to Christmas Day, and the weekly Covid rates are expressed as the number of recorded cases per 100,000 population.
