Motorists are being told not to stop on the Hailsham Bypass after an amount of fake £20 notes were discovered.
Police have been searching the road this morning of the A22 bypass for more notes, and are telling drivers that stopping on the road may cause may cause injury/collisions.
Eastbourne Police said: “Please be advised the notes are fake, and officers are currently in the location, please do not stop along this stretch of road in an attempt to gather it.”
