Police responded to calls from residents recently who reported the anti-social riding of motorbikes in the area.
As a result, bikes were seized by officers and a Section 59 wanting was issued to the rider.
A Section 59 is issued when a rider or driver drives in an anti-social manner and a marker is put on the vehicle. If breached the vehicle can be further seized by Police and rider fined.
A Police spokesperson said: “Anti-social driving will not be tolerated, and we ask residents to continue reporting incidents to us online or to Operation Crackdown.”
All reports provide a vital oversight of when and where anti-social driving incidents are taking place, assisting in the long term operational strategy of officers within, Sussex Police, Sussex Safer Roads Partnership and the local teams.
