Thieves stole and dumped a delivery van in Hailsham last week, as the driver made a delivery, Police have said.
Officers were called at 11.20am on Thursday to reports of a vehicle being stolen from Station Road after a thief jumped into the driver’s side and drove off.
The vehicle, which is believed to be a Hermes courier van, was later found abandoned on White Dyke Farm, near to the Pevensey Levels, some contents from inside the vehicle were reported as stolen.
Lewis Isted told Hailsham News; “I was tracking my parcel and couldn’t believe it when I received a notification that my parcel had been stolen.”
