Investigators are currently on scene to find the cause of a serious incident in Hailsham today (Monday).
The area around the shops of Hawkswood Road have been cornered off following a serious incident this afternoon which saw the road closed for several hours. Residents have reported that a stabbing took place – it is unknown if anyone was injured at this time.
Scenes of Crime Officers (SOCO) have arrived on scene to collect evidence and find out what happened.
Hailsham News has contacted Sussex Police and is waiting for a response regarding the incident.
