MAYBUGS, the popular gift shop based in Hailsham, Bexhill and Eastbourne has clinched another prestigious national award.
The business attended The Greats Gift Retailer Awards 2024 last night (16 May) in London, to receive yet another trophy to add to its already packed award cabinet.
It received the award for ‘Best Retailer Initiative’ for its artisan market initiative which is operated from the first floor of its Eastbourne store on Terminus Road.
It was up against other initiates from retailers from around the UK, but took the top spot at the ceremony at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London last night.
Maybugs previously won Best Retailer Initiative in 2023 for its ‘Supporting Independents This Christmas’ campaign, and in 2022, it won the Independent Gift Retailer of the Year award for the London, South, South East & East Anglia areas.
The Greats Gift Retailer Awards 2024 are now in their 22nd year and set out to recognise and reward the UK’s outstanding gift shops and gift departments.
