AN electric vehicle manufacturer in Hailsham has continued its support with a batch of donations for the Christmas period.
JLC, based in Lower Dicker, already supplies Hailsham Foodbank with an electric van so it can complete its collections emission-free, but has added to that with more supplies to top up the shelves.
Hailsham Town Councillor, Nathalie Hayes, who helped with the donation said: “Hailsham Foodbank plays a significant part in addressing the unfortunate issue of food poverty by providing emergency food parcels to individuals and families in need. They not only help to relieve hunger but also offer support and guidance to those who find themselves in difficult circumstances.”
A spokesperson from JLC said: We urge everyone to join us in supporting Hailsham Foodbank by donating food items or funds. No matter how small the contribution is, it helps to make a difference in someone’s life. Every action we take to support Hailsham Foodbank helps to build a stronger, healthier, and more vibrant community.”
